Restylane Bumbs

Restylane does not wound the skin, if:

• It is injected too superficially
• It is applied unevenly

Skin reactions or prolonged inflammation associated with Restylane injections are extremely rare (I personally have never seen). Areas where the skin is thicker, such as scratches nosoústnych is much less likely to end up with bumps, compared with areas where the skin is very thin, such as tear troughs under the lower eyelids media. Recommended that patients be nothing more than gently attach the ice on the injection of fillers, including Restylane, during the first 3 days after treatment. This allows for most of the initial swelling to resolve.

What is restylane

After the third day and before 7 day after application, I recommend massage any area with a visible wound, than fullness or asymmetry, several times a day until it smooths out. This massage can be done with a finger or the tip Q-Tip. Patients should recognize that the panels can be applied palpable for several months, but only visible lumps or bumps are concerned. It would certainly be a mistake to apply massage filling of the area to be filled.

Avoid Restylane Bumbs

The good news, in the case of Restylane or Juvederm strike that failed to resolve in time, is that those materials (hyaluronic acid gels) can be easily dissolved with the injection of hyaluronidase (Amphadase or Vitrasol). Gust made from other injectables like Radiesse or Artefill are difficult to treat. The injection of steroids, along with a thorough massage would be a good first step. Surgical removal is rarely, but sometimes necessary as a last resort.
